Starforge Systems has built around the core idea of making products that set a new standard in computer gaming. We were founded by a team of industry veterans alongside a group of content creators in August 2022. We set out to change the standard for customer service, build quality, and cable management in the industry, while still making sure our computers were affordable and accessible.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Starforge Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for handling high-end gaming PCs by checking that they have passed all required testing. From there you will be expected to inspect and pack the PCs, lifting them multiple times as you go from stage to stage in the packing process.
Job Duties:
- Inspect PCs after build to ensure they pass all testing requirements
- Pack PCs once they're ready to leave the warehouse
- Various other warehouse tasks, including tidying work spaces, breaking down cardboard boxes, etc
- Ensure the warehouse complies with safety and cleanliness standards
- Perform additional related duties, as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred
- Experience with inventory management software and computer hardware is a plus
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 65lbs consistently throughout the day
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 65lbs and heavier weights with the proper equipment
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person; finger dexterity to access, enter, and retrieve computer data
- Able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb to perform work
- Comfortable using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training will be provided if necessary)
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm; there may be opportunities for overtime
Pay: $19 - $21/hr depending on experience
