Full Job Description
DSI is a sales enablement company with an immediate career opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our distribution center in Dallas, Texas. This key role is responsible for shipping and receiving and must have a general knowledge in all phases of warehousing. To succeed in this role, you will need to have intermediate computer skills, warehouse management system experience is preferred.
As the Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for, invoices, and the fulfillment of orders. Additionally, you will load and unload trucks; prior experience in operating a sit-down forklift is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
This is an in-person position that will report to our Warehouse in Dallas, Texas.
Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Requirements
- Shipping and Receiving
- Loading and unloading trucks utilizing a forklift or pallet jack
- Utilizing a warehouse management system
- Picking and packing
- Invoicing and order fulfillment
- Positive can-do attitude with a passion to achieve and exceed set goals
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Desire to accomplish more every day and willingness to take on new tasks
- Proficiently work with the team and independently
- Exhibit excellent time management skills
- The ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
Experience
- MUST have experience in Receiving/Returning shipments
- Operating a sit-down forklift preferred
- Utilizing warehouse management systems
- Capacity to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence and add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units
Computer Skills
- Must have intermediate computer skills, preferably in a warehouse environment that utilizes FedEx and local freight carriers
- Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
- Experience with an inventory management system is a plus
