Powerflex Supply is the fastest-growing rotational grazing supply company in the United States and Canada. We supply our products through multiple channels, including Direct-to-Customer, Agriculture Equipment Dealerships, and Partner relationships.

Role Summary:

Our business is growing! Powerflex Supply is merging with Range Ward, and we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to expand our product and channel offerings to our customers. Our growth means we are adding to our leadership team and seeking an accomplished VP of Operations to support our integration and continued growth.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience leading high-performing teams across the supply chain, including warehousing, distribution, merchandising, and manufacturing, as well as experience integrating new divisions, products, and facilities.

The Vice President of Operations will lead the integration of people, processes, and technology across existing Powerflex operations and departments and future acquisitions. This role will champion a culture of excellence and growth while strategically directing our Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Service Operations throughout North America. The VP of Operations will be accountable for fostering continuous improvement, nurturing talent, and driving collaboration to achieve the company's mission. This role will be pivotal in driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain and Operations

  • Lead and grow operations teams, currently 15-20 people.
  • Design and implement best practices across operational processes that align with strategic goals, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Create supply chain practices that generate better negotiating power, reduced lead times, and improved inventory control.
  • Optimize stock levels and logistics by developing strategies for inventory management systems across all locations.
  • Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, product development methodologies, and supply chain management across all entities.
  • Champion the adoption of a unified IT platform for operations, focusing on corporate systems, inventory management software, and other critical technologies.
  • People development, including talent assessment and retention strategies.

Merger integration

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operations integration strategy to merge the operations of acquired companies into the existing corporate framework.
  • Lead the alignment of company cultures, ensuring a smooth transition and integration for all employees across departments.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through the merger process, setting clear milestones and managing timelines effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of executive experience leading operations within manufacturing, eCommerce, or similar industries.
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution, and Inventory Management.
  • Proven track record of significant organizational change initiatives, including integrating people, systems, and processes post-merger.
  • Experience in P&L management, ROI analysis, and strategic budget planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and technology platforms used in manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for leading teams and interfacing with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in change management and organizational development.
  • Ideally, international business experience with operations and supply chain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or related fields. 
  • Commitment to sustainability and innovation in agriculture and ranching.
  • Ideally have experience in agribusiness in ranching and/or farming.
  • Ability to travel ~30% (USA and Canada) as necessary.
