GolfSuites® is seeking a part-time Venue Janitor based in Lubbock, TX. GolfSuites® mission is to provide a fun, all-Inclusive, engaging, and authentic golf-centric entertainment venue focused on ultimate hospitality and game improvement. GolfSuites® prides itself on delivering FUN with passion by building relationships and creating unforgettable experiences for every guest.
The Venue Janitor reports to the Assistant Director of Operations and Director of Operations. Is responsible for the cleanliness of our facility and the safety of day-to-day operations. This position offers 20 hours a week MAX!
Key Responsibilities

- Washes windows and mirrors.
- Takes out the trash.
- Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.
- Handles leaf and snow removal as needed.
- Follows instructions from the head janitor.
- Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors.
- Removes litter and trash outside on venue property.
- Uses cleaning products provided by GolfSuites and notifies management if more is needed to be ordered.
- Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools.
- Completes minor repairs such as unclogging toilets.
- Notifies management when major repairs are needed.
- Fills out janitorial checklists at the end of every shift.
- Follows safety rules and precautions.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Interact with Guests to ensure the quality of their experience.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 1+ years of janitorial or professional cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be conscientious and hard working.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision at times.
- Excellent communication, time management, collaboration, and organization skills.
- Remain flexible in approach - can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes.
- High personal standards of conduct and professionalism, self-motivated.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods.
- Able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, ben and reach overhead for extended periods including maneuvering up and down ladders and stairs.
- Ability to push, pull, lift,and carry objects of various weights up to 100 lbs.
