JOB TITLE: Tool Install Project Manager

 

SUMMARY: MSR-FSR is looking for an experienced Tool Install Project Manager to join our team with experience in leading a team, managing scope, and working successfully with schedules and budgets. Previous tool install experience in the semiconductor industry is required.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Interface with purchasing, trades, install superintendents and facilities management
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Estimate the resources and labor needed to achieve project goals
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Identify and mitigate issues and conflicts within the project team; identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documentation and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors
  • Conduct project lessons learned and work to create recommendations identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience as a construction coordinator or project manager
  • Previous semiconductor construction experience
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large-scale projects in a team environment managing multiple priorities
  • Skilled in strong leadership, business partnership, and all forms of communication
  • High level technical skills required to thoroughly understand engineering decisions and code requirements related to building construction; cleanroom buildouts; and facility electrical, mechanical, and process systems
  • Applied knowledge of Project management software for project estimating, scheduling, and procurement systems

    • Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
