Toddler Assistant Teacher

Two Year Old/Toddler teacher

Monday - Friday, 11 AM -6 PM

Part-time/Day-time/Afternoon

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students
- Collaborate with the lead teachers to create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Help students develop literacy and math skills through engaging activities and exercises
- Assist in monitoring student progress and providing positive feedback to parents/guardians

-Assist multiple classrooms with children ranging in ages infant through Pre-K. This provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with the team

-Ensuring closing procedures are carried out and cleanliness is a priority

-Maintain cleanliness and sanitization practices

Qualifications:

-Minimum requirements: Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma

-Flexible schedules- College students welcome to apply
- Experience working with children, particularly in an early childhood education setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, families, and co-workers
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is helpful, training will be provided as well
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation is helpful; not required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children

-CPR/First Aid required- assistance offered if needed
