Idea Entity, a Microsoft Gold Partner, is a global change management consulting firm committed to delivering customer outcomes that change the way business is done. We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Technical Project Manager who will assume a key role in coordinating people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet our customers’ needs. This role works closely with our internal and external customers and will be the point of contact for a project’s execution.
This role is a full-time role, operating on a hybrid schedule out of our San Antonio, TX office with two (2) telework days a week and may be occasionally required to travel.
Requirements
- Prior DOD (Department of Defense) experience or experience with Government clients.
- Experience in enterprise architecture and solution design.
- Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field required. May be substituted with equivalent work experience.
- Three plus (3+) years of experience working in technical project management roles.
- Strong organizational skills with keen sense of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to forge consensus among competing constituents on critical and time sensitive issues.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Applications; knowledge of Azure, DevOps, etc.
- Ability to organize, lead teams, work independently or as member of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to execute multiple projects.
- Prior work experience with process improvements, project planning and management.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and functions.
- Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to design business solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval.
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines, and establishing project budget.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analysis of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Maintain high communication with executives and other stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals and expectations.
- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends.
- Document opportunities for improvement and mitigate the associated risks.
Nice to have:
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Knowledge of iterative software and development methodologies such as Microsoft Solutions Framework.
- Prior work experience or knowledge in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS projects.
- Certified Scrum Master
- Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

The target pay range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000, based on experience.
