The Vice President of Operations is responsible for managing operational aspects of the company and assisting the President and General Manager of Cutten Road in assuring the aggressive and successful growth of the company. The role provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls in place to grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. This position will report to the General Manager of Houston.
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
- Measure and ensure the effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
- Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure designed to accommodate rapid growth objectives.
- Provide support and develop strategies for the ongoing implementation of Kinetics,
- Coordinate manufacturing efforts with production managers at all locations,
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate improvements and working relationships.
- Oversee operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.
- Oversee operational standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
- Recommend strategic changes to manufacturing processes and operations.
- Establish manufacturing processes in support of materials usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, and performance measures.
- Oversee implementation and execution of manufacturing processes and practices throughout the organization.
- Ensure performance and development of personnel.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

Requirements
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- Ten (10) years of work experience in operations and strategy.
- Four (4) years of experience in a management position.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
- Must be able to coordinate disconnected efforts into a coherent and timely project
- Ability to communicate clearly with all types of individuals.
- Diverse business experience working with inventory, ERP systems, facilities, sales and finance.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business challenges.
