The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the identification, documentation, and provisioning of military and civil contract requirements. This role supports the Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, and Quality disciplines.
Specific responsibilities and authorities may include:
- Identify proposal and contractual requirements. Validate the availability of resources and capability to fulfill those requirements, and otherwise, collaborate with stakeholders to develop programs necessary for compliance.
- Oversee and monitor ITAR Compliance
- Monitor and support NIST Cybersecurity Compliance
- Ensure GENGOV Supplements and Terms and Conditions are reviewed, approved by senior management, and recorded.
- Identify Data Rights Assertions and develop Intellectual Property Management plans by project.
- Support proposal compliance with military requirements
- Vett Suppliers according to contract requirements
- Support execution of subcontract agreements
- Support the provision of Representations and Certifications
- Support execution of nondisclosure agreements
- Assist with Military price audits.
- Identify and support CDRLs and SDRLs
- Interpret contract FARS, DFARS, HSAR, Buy America/American Develop requirements and develop Project Regulation Flow down list.
- Work with the Quality Department to ensure Quality Requirements are identified and programs in place to fulfill those requirements.
- Act as liaison for Government Source Inspection
- Identify and document contract requirements for packaging, labeling, and shipping.
- Assist with new customer setup.
- Assist with new vendor setup.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate contract requirements with business operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce or review correspondence, submittals, designs, analyses, manual, quality data, test reports and field support information for the Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certification in Government Contract Management a plus.
Experience:
- Five (5) years in Government contracts administration and technical data generation
- Experience working in the Defense industry, including Exostar, SPARs, Integrated Logistics Support, Systems Architecture, Configuration Management, CDRLs, and SDRLs
- Experience working in manufacturing industry and ISO 9001environment a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel.
- Self motivated and accountable for own actions.
