Superintendent

Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading construction company in Irving, TX to find a skilled individual to join the team as a Superintendent. This is a managerial role reporting directly to the Project Manager, and involves close collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of the project site.
• Assist in establishing and implementing safety plans, with direct responsibility for project safety.
• Conduct on-site meetings with subcontractors, owners, and tradesmen.
• Maintain discipline at the jobsite.
• Supervise company field labor and hourly wage employees hired from third parties.
• Manage subcontractor activities.
• Assist in establishing and enforcing quality control plans, including adherence to plans, specifications, and local building codes.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and jobsite photos.
• Monitor subcontractors' progress and ensure proper job sequencing.
• Collaborate on the preparation of Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and implement schedules to meet project completion dates.
• Generate and submit requests for information.
• Act as a liaison with owner occupants.
• Resolve conflicts arising in the field.
• Maintain as-built drawings.
• Identify documents for potential change orders and back charges.
• Coordinate material deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of general construction experience required.
• Experience in K-12 education and/or aviation construction preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations preferred.
• Strong communication, supervisory, and organizational skills are essential.
