Introduction:

Are you a results-driven sales leader with a passion for the staffing industry? Do you have the strategic vision and sales expertise to build relationships with clients, expand business opportunities, and drive revenue growth? If you’re a dynamic sales professional who thrives on closing deals and developing long-term partnerships, then our client has an exciting role for you. We’re looking for a Staffing Sales Manager (aka The Growth Catalyst) to lead our sales efforts, acquire new clients, and ensure that staffing solutions align with client business goals.

As the Staffing Sales Manager at our client, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing client accounts, expanding service offerings, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless staffing delivery. This role is not just about hitting sales targets—it’s about being the strategic partner who understands client needs and provides tailored staffing solutions that fuel their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Business Development:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and acquire new business opportunities in the staffing industry. You’ll generate leads, build a pipeline of prospective clients, and develop targeted sales plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Prospecting and Relationship Building:
    • Proactively identify and pursue potential clients through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships. You’ll build strong client relationships and position our client as a trusted staffing partner.
  • Tailored Staffing Solutions:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, workforce challenges, and hiring needs. You’ll provide customized staffing solutions that align with their objectives, whether for contract staffing, direct hire, or project-based roles.
  • Negotiating Contracts and Closing Deals:
    • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company. You’ll work with internal legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and secure long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Collaboration with Recruiting Teams:
    • Partner with internal recruiting teams to ensure that client needs are met with high-quality candidates. You’ll work closely with recruiters to align on client expectations, providing feedback to improve service delivery and ensure successful placements.
  • Account Management and Client Retention:
    • Manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring that staffing solutions continue to meet their evolving needs. You’ll be responsible for growing accounts, identifying opportunities for additional services, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key sales performance metrics, including revenue growth, lead conversion rates, and client retention. You’ll provide regular reports to leadership, ensuring that sales goals are met and identifying areas for improvement.

    Requirements

    Required Skills:

    • Sales Expertise: Proven track record in business development, sales, and client relationship management within the staffing or recruitment industry. You’re skilled at identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing deals.
    • Staffing Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the staffing and recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate evaluation, and placement. You’re comfortable discussing client needs and aligning staffing solutions with their business goals.
    • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. You’re skilled at identifying opportunities to grow accounts and provide additional staffing services that drive business success.
    • Negotiation and Closing Skills: Experience negotiating contracts and closing deals that lead to long-term partnerships. You’re able to balance client expectations with company goals, securing mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify client needs, recommend staffing solutions, and resolve issues quickly and effectively. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven to deliver results.
    • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, recruiting teams, and leadership. You’re a natural collaborator who can align sales efforts with service delivery.
    • Humor: A great sense of humor, because even in the competitive world of sales, we believe in creating a positive and enjoyable work environment. If you can close deals while keeping things fun, you’re our kind of sales manager.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Certifications in sales, business development, or staffing (e.g., Certified Staffing Professional) are a plus. If you’ve completed leadership or sales training programs, that’s an added advantage.

    Experience Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on the staffing or recruitment industry. You’ve successfully grown client accounts and built long-term partnerships in a competitive market.
    • Proven success in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and client retention.
    • Experience working in fast-paced staffing agencies, recruitment firms, or HR consulting companies is highly desirable.

    Benefits
