Requirements

What You Will Get to Do….

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be responsible for working with engineering team members and coordinating consultant responsibilities of studies, design, or construction documents of various scale projects.

Work in a team environment

Work collaboratively with our firm’s integrated engineers, architects and interior designers in Austin and San Antonio

Perform site surveys and coordinate with the electric utility for assessment of renovation or new construction needs.

Design building electrical systems including power distribution and lighting design, along with familiarity of fire alarm and low voltage systems.

Coordinate construction documents for small to medium-sized projects.

Review CA related items and perform site observations during construction.

Understand codes, standards, and guidelines related to the practice of building design.

Be familiar with software for performing electrical loads, short circuit analysis, and lighting calculations.

Mentor and train junior level team members.

Develop solutions to electrical system challenges with multi-discipline coordination.

 

What You Need to Bring To The Table…

We’re looking for passionate, driven self-starters. Beyond that, you’ll need…

PE Required

Revit experience required

7+ years of experience

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
