As a Speech Language Pathologist at Midas, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, to develop and implement personalized therapy programs. Your expertise and guidance will help patients improve their speech, language, and cognitive abilities, empowering them to achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals
- Provide therapy sessions, including speech-language exercises, language stimulation activities, and swallowing exercises
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and audiologists, to ensure holistic care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and promote independence
- Document and maintain accurate clinical records and progress reports
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders
- Experience working with patients of all ages, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
