Software Development Engineer

A Software Development Engineer will produce scalable software solutions as part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. This role should be comfortable with coding languages, development frameworks, and databases.

Essential Functions:

• Work independently to develop high-quality software with guidance from department leadership
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks timely and accurately
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code with unit tests
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve products

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of experience in software development
• Proficient in coding and software development using NodeJS/Typescript or Go and familiarity with either MongoDB or SQL
• Strong ability to test, debug, and ensure the quality of software applications
• Excellent team collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex software issues
• Continuous learning mindset with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
• Comfortable in a rapid development environment
