Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented, digitally-savvy communicator for the role of Social Media Coordinator. This person will serve as a crucial member of the Bakery social team, acting both as a social media expert and community advocate. We are looking for someone who can take direction, assume responsibilities, and swiftly gain an understanding of the agency to start making meaningful contributions.

You must be experienced in channeling brand sentiment to build authentic, relevant, interactive conversations and relationships, drumming up engagement and effectively reporting and communicating optimizations to partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Compose, launch and optimize social advertising campaigns using Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other platforms.
  • Engage with and moderate community interactions on published content, responding promptly and escalating issues as needed.
  • Actively monitor and nurture positive community engagement, continuously gauging interests and sentiment.
  • Serve as the primary resource for emerging social media trends and community insights for the internal agency social team and clients.
  • Support the design and delivery of social media strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of editorial calendars.
  • Represent and advocate for your brand community perspectives, promoting a social media-first approach to other agency teams.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be legally able to work in the USA.
  • 1-2 years of social media management or equivalent social/digital/integrated marketing experience within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Great writing ability.
  • Experience with social publishing tools and platforms such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Sprout, and Meltwater.
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration experience with a track record of communicating clearly and successfully with executive leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media and digital ecosystems, especially Meta and TikTok.
  • Proactive and Confident teammate; you embrace challenges with confidence and are adept at working collaboratively with others or under guidance while still excelling at independent problem-solving and adapting to new situations as needed.
