Shop Foreman

CROWN AUTO REPAIR is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Shop Foreman. As the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing our automotive repair and maintenance operations, ensuring the efficient and effective completion of all projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of technicians and mechanics in the shop.
• Assign tasks and monitor the progress of repair projects to ensure timely completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs as needed.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Order parts and materials necessary for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor time.
• Collaborate with the service advisors to address customer inquiries and concerns.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership role in an automotive repair shop.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and lead a team of technicians.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
