CROWN AUTO REPAIR is currently seeking a customer-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers and play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and managing automotive service requests. This position requires strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and understand their automotive service needs.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to customers regarding service options, pricing, and timelines.
- Manage service appointments and schedule repairs efficiently.
- Create estimates and work orders for customer approval.
- Communicate with technicians and coordinate the completion of repairs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing regular updates on repair progress and addressing any concerns.
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions.
- Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary parts and ensure timely delivery.
- Stay updated on automotive industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer service role in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Automotive knowledge and understanding of basic vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record keeping.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
