Note: RemotelyHR is hiring on behalf of ndm Communications.
Overview:
ndm is seeking an SEO Coordinator who is a quick learner who loves to answer the “why” behind data and has a passion for quality content. In this role you will collaborate closely with SEO experts on the Digital Communications team to implement effective SEO strategies for clients in the senior living and health care space.
The ideal candidate is extremely organized, ambitious to learn, and is excited to work on a team that wants to train them to grow into more advanced roles and with a manager that will work to help them excel in SEO-related areas they are passionate about.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with SEO Specialists to develop and execute on strategies to increase search engine results and organic traffic to client’s websites
- Write engaging title tags, header tags, and meta descriptions that follow SEO best practices
- Assist in interpreting data in a way that tells an engaging story of how ongoing strategies impacted website performance
- Demonstrate a desire to stay current on the constantly changing world of search engine optimization for written, audio, and video content.
Pay: $24 - $29/hour, DOE
Requirements
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in or a passion to learn more about the following areas of SEO:
- Keyword research
- Link building
- Content marketing (audio, video, written)
- Interest in at least one of the following areas, in addition to SEO:
- User experience/conversion rate optimization
- Web design
- Social media marketing
- Audio, video, or written content creation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must work well in a collaborative environment, but appreciate autonomy
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- A quick learner with a desire to grow and advance in their career
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of SEO, web design, journalism, or marketing experience
- Hybrid or remote based on location. Must live in one of the following states:
Arizona, California, Kansas, Colorado, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, North Dakota, Texas - Minimal to no travel required for this position
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
