The Senior Security Project Manager will provide support for all Stream Data Center Construction and Operations Security Projects.  The Senior Security Project Manager provides design and project management expertise to ensure quality projects are delivered on time and on target in coordination with our Construction, Operations, and Information Technology Teams.,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Senior Security Project Manager to support and manage SDC Construction Data Center and Operations Security Projects.  
  • Works closely with SDC Site Acquisitions and Design teams during “Master Planning” phase.
  • Coordinate Security Design Reviews with Project Architect and Design Team through all project design deliverables to ensure PSBOD standards are implemented.
  • Review and approve Security Bids with General Contractors.
  • Review and approve Issue for Construction Security drawings and all bulletins.
  • Drive projects to completion and provide updates to all stakeholders during all phases of project.
  • Identify and address issues with critical thinking and complex problem solving.
  • Host weekly meetings with General Contractors and Installation Teams to effectively manage construction project deliverables.
  • Coordinate and perform Security System Commissioning for all new Data Center builds onsite and remotely.
  • Documents all critical evolutions, lessons learned, and find possible efficiency gains in processes.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities of security technology projects to ensure that all project goals are accomplished, meeting and / or exceeding commitment to internal and external customers.
  • Visits job sites regularly to review installation of all Security projects.
  • Develop new “scopes of work” to address TVRA assessment vulnerabilities working closely with Security Engineer and Senior Director of Corporate Security. 
  • Manage remediation projects from engagement to closeout.
  • Create and coordinate MOPs with Critical Facilities Engineering Teams to ensure work progress happens efficiently and safely.
  • Leads “construction security turnover” meetings with Site Operations Director, Security Engineer, Security Manager, and CFM to gain understanding of completed project scope.
  • Subject Matter Expert Role for “Customer Build-to-Suit” Data Center Projects.
  • Provides backup support for our Senior Security Systems Technician and Security Engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of Security Project Management experience.
  • 3 years of Security Design Consultant experience.
  • 2 years of General Construction Experience (Tradesman or Project Manager role).
  • 2 years of End User experience with LenelS2 Access Control System (ACS) and Milestone Video Surveillance System (VSS) is required.
  • 2 years of Physical Security experience in a Live Data Center environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electronic Key Systems management applications.
  • Management/Leadership training and/or practical application experience.
  • In-depth, hands-on expertise with designing low-voltage security technology.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 Operating Systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, MAC addresses, and network communicant protocols).
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam REVU.
  • Experience with BIM360, Auto CAD, and Construction Project Management software.
  • Able to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members and externally with vendors and other service providers. 
  • Travel is expected to be approximately 30% but may be higher during critical construction project deliverables.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma with 5+ years relatable experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or applied science with 2+ years of relatable experience.
