Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading company in Irving, TX to find a skilled individual to join the team as a Senior Project Manager.
This role is a managerial position accountable for contracts and/or work orders, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage profit and loss (P&L) for assigned projects.
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships, fostering new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented atmosphere among project team members.
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including scheduling, procurement, quality control, and safety.
- Participate in preconstruction services, including estimation and value engineering.
- Supervise Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Construction Interns assigned to contracts.
- Collaborate with and monitor the performance of Superintendents on contracts.
- Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Thoroughly understand project scope of work.
- Develop and maintain project cost reports.
- Document and negotiate changes impacting project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
- Establish field quality assurance and quality control plans in conjunction with Superintendents.
- Coordinate project safety plans with Superintendents.
- Manage Minority Business Enterprise/Women's Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) subcontracting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action contract requirements.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience of 10+ years in construction.
- Preferably experienced in education, municipal, and mass transit markets.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects exceeding $20 million.
- Proficient in government and municipal contract management.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and personnel concurrently.
- Thorough knowledge of construction principles, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in computer applications, Project Management software, scheduling tools, and excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential.
