Full Job Description

The Senior Measurement Analyst is responsible for ensuring production data from Aethon sales, check, and allocation meters is accurate and complete.  The role will require coordination with field techs and lease operators to address technical/physical issues. The analyst will also work closely with Production Accounting and Midstream Accounting to ensure data quality in ProCount and TIES. Additionally, the role will be responsible for some Cygnet interfacing such as meter setups.

Requirements

 

Duties and Job Responsibilities:

  • Owns the volume editing process within Flow Measurement Service (FMS), correcting inaccurate data daily to ensure cleaner data flows through subsequent applications and dashboards.
  • Builds/modifies meters within FMS, partnering with field staff and downstream stakeholders to ensure meter metadata and gas analyses are accurate across all systems.
  • Partner with technical support to manage the FMS to TIES/ProCount export files and connections, assisting with resolving volume or data discrepancies.
  • Build custom FMS reports/views tailored to the needs of various departments.
  • Create meters in Cygnet, collaborating with I&E, Measurement, OCC, and Production Accounting.
  • Partner with IT and Cygnet technical support to build screens, link systems, communicate changes, etc.
  • Coordinate with Production Accounting and Midstream Accounting to establish calendars and methods of communicating changes.
  • Provide feedback to Measurement and Operations staff on recurring issues and solution to remedy them.

Be familiar with, and adhere to, all policies and practices noted in the Employee Handbook and the HSE Guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years minimum analyst experience in the oil and gas industry, with several years involved with mid-level to complex production analysis and SCADA system management.
  • Proficient in FMS (or related volume editing environment), Cygnet, and other software systems and applications used in production data and SCADA reporting.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible with the demands of a growing company
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
