Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Human Resources Manager based in Houston, Texas to oversee the full scope of HR functions, aligning them with the strategic goals of the business at a sub-regional level across all business lines. This position will entail both strategic and operational responsibilities, ensuring the seamless delivery of HR services and fostering a conducive work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

Business Partnership:

  • Collaborate with Business Country Leaders to enhance employee engagement and facilitate culture transformation initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, acting as a trusted advisor.

Organization Development & Change Management:

  • Recommend HR strategies to Business Country Leaders for meeting human resource needs in line with business objectives. Coordinate with the Senior HR Director APAC on regional and global HR projects.
  • Ensure the alignment of HR strategies and organizational design with overarching office and market objectives.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Conduct salary benchmarking analyses to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborate with Country Leaders and regional HR teams to integrate, optimize, and implement compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring competitive offerings and legal compliance.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Partner with the internal talent acquisition team and business units on hiring needs.
  • Facilitate the internal headcount approval process by providing necessary hiring information to Finance and Hiring teams.

Talent Management:

  • Conduct training needs analyses and skills audits in collaboration with Business Country Leaders and regional HR teams.
  • Develop and implement induction sessions for new hires, communication sessions for new/revised programs, and provide mentoring, coaching, and counseling where necessary.
  • Lead the Performance Review exercise and calibration exercises with Business Country Leaders, identifying high potential staff for further development and retention.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee payroll processing with the payroll vendor, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for employee Onboarding and Offboarding, ensuring efficiency and compliance in all operational HR processes.
  • Maintain updated HR records and communication materials, including timely updates to the Employee Handbook.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ HR business partnering experience in a global organization; experience in an multinational corporation is a plus, and HR consulting experience is required..
  • Proficient understanding of employment ordinances, legal, and taxation requirements.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to manage complexities and ambiguities with high resilience.
  • Proven experience working with senior management teams in a partnership setting across diverse cultures.
  • Result-oriented with attention to detail, process-driven with a strategic and proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to be hands-on, resourceful, and creative in problem/situation solving.
