We are a leading sports company dedicated to growing the sports of pickleball and tennis. We are seeking a Senior Executive Event Sales professional to join our team. Our company is committed to providing exceptional sports experiences to our members and clients, and we need your sales expertise to help us achieve our goals.
As the Senior Executive Event Sales - Pickleball/Tennis, you will play a vital role in selling and promoting our pickleball and tennis events. You will work closely with event organizers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of our events. Your strong networking and negotiation skills will be crucial in securing partnerships and achieving revenue targets.
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are a self-starter, enthusiastic about sports, and have a proven ability to drive event sales, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event sales strategies with league organizers, tournament directors, and camp directors
- Identify and secure event sponsors and partners
- Negotiate and close sponsorship agreements
- Work closely with event organizers to ensure the success of each event
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective sponsors
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop event marketing materials
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote our events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the event industry
- Strong knowledge and passion for pickleball and/or tennis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Self-motivated and results-driven attitude
- Exceptional networking and negotiation skills
Benefits
Base salary + bonus opportunity. Direct sales bonus plus company profit sharing bonus.
Fully remote position - can be based anywhere in the United States
