Senior Buyer

As a Senior Buyer, your primary responsibility is to manage the sourcing and acquisition of materials necessary for operations at a production site. You will also oversee warehouse operations to ensure smooth functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vendors for material procurement.
• Supervise warehouse activities.
• Evaluate vendor offers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Identify potential vendors to minimize risks.
• Provide procurement guidance to the organization.
• Maintain accurate records and manage purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Implement efficient warehouse practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of procurement experience in relevant industries including chemical, oil and gas, energy or similar.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.

Skills:

• Understanding of procurement processes.
• Negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management.
• Knowledge of industry regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
