Who You Are:
Museum of Ice Cream seeks an eager and ambitious Senior Bartender to join our fun-filled team. You are a creative and extrovert looking for a highly impactful and interactive role. This role is a real-life embodiment of MOIC; your collaborative energy would fit right in. As a senior bartender, you have maintained a deep understanding of flavor profiles, spirits, and mixology trends to elevate our beverage offerings continually.
What You Will Do:
The Senior bartender will prepare drinks for guests and serve them in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. You will provide outstanding service and an unforgettable experience. You will advocate for the bar and ice cream operations, create ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Be a leader behind the bar and represent the Museum of Ice Cream brand with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Work with the site F&B Manager and junior bartender to constantly raise the level of hospitality by delivering best-in-class cocktails and experiences.
- Ability to follow, memorize, and create experiences by serving MOIC specialty drink recipes.
- Be the face of the bar and the driving force behind profitability, serving alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, and, at times, ice cream and soft serve.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding the revenue targets through applying various sales techniques, up-selling, suggestive selling, and at the same time, keeping the cost levels within the limits set by the F&B Director.
- Ensures that bars operate efficiently at all times and that the quality of services provided meets the Museum and Food and beverage industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
- Restock the bar in areas not limited to liquor, ice, garnishes, and other perishable items, glassware, drink cards, keg replacement, stock beer, and wine coolers, etc.
- Ability to meet daily bar sales goals through engaging guests and making MOIC cocktails and N/A drinks.
- Work cooperatively with other departments and assist the food and beverage team with off-property events.
- Assist food and beverage team with off-property events.
- Inform the manager of supplies and/or products needed in bar areas.
- Pour drinks using standard pour according to specifications.
- Receive and process orders in the POS system with accuracy.
- Check identification to verify the customer is of legal age.
- Clean and empty trash cans as necessary.

The pay range for this role is $35 to $45 per hour, depending on the candidate's location and experience.
Requirements
The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves:
- 4-5 years of bartending experience is preferred.
- Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
- Best in Class wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills.
- Basic math skills, calculating the correct bill amount, and using proper credit card and cash handling procedures.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Able to learn, retain, and present products, menus, and allergy information to guests.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant point of sale system.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications (if applicable).
- Restaurant inventory and invoicing software proficiency may be required.

- Flexible schedule and can work weekends, nights, and holidays when needed.
