Full Job Description

As a Security Operations Center Administrator, you will be a valuable team member to Eagle Eye International's Command and Control team. You will be responsible for managing incoming security support requests, identifying the appropriate manager, and monitoring upcoming, as well as existing security projects from the operations center. We are looking for agents who are dedicated to do their best in any task with moral fortitude and character and always displaying a high level of customer service. Operations center members should expect to encounter on a daily basis incidental contact and interaction with clients, potential clients, vendors, and members of management. This is not a cyber security or IT systems position. It is an operations administrative position.

DUTIES:

This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities or working conditions associated with the position.

The Operations Center Administrator will report directly to the Field Operations Manager, and will be required to perform a full range of security operations center skills and services, including but not limited to:

  • Receive incoming security support requests in order to validate the request, communicating with clients as required;
  • Coordinate with Eagle Eye vendors, contractors, and employees to develop security mission packages;
  • Utilize, maintain, and provide input in the development of company processes and technology for the management of security operations and field personnel as directed by the Business Operations Manager;
  • Adhere to Eagle Eye and Client directed SOP's;
  • Project a highly professional manner at all times;
  • Answer the phone professionally, responding to general questions, inquiries and transferring calls as needed;
  • Respond to enquiries from internal and external persons regarding such information as Eagle Eye services and capabilities;
  • Frequent sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time maybe required;
  • Must be able to multitask and be a self-motivator;
  • Must be able to utilize today's technology to provide daily reporting (Laptop/Monitor CCTV, cell phones, wireless);
  • Maintain a high level of personal appearance

Your responsibilities are broken down into the following categories:

Field Operational Management

  • Produce and provide agents with security related operational materials such as  Mission Briefs, Course of Action and/or Concept of Operations that will allow them to prepare for and carry out security operations
  • Monitor and support field operations
    • Coordinate efforts to help the flow of field operations run smoothly 
    • Schedule meetings and briefs with agents 
    • Arrange travel, lodging, and appropriate logistics support as needed for agents to carry out their mission
    • Serve as a point of contact between field operations and the head office
  • Effectively manage administrative tasks
  • Effectively utilize company processes and technology to carry out administrative and operational functions as directed by the Business Operations Manager
  • Update project management systems in a complete, timely, and orderly fashion in accordance with established business processes and procedures
  • Ensure field operations stay within their allocated budgets and communicate changes as they occur

Business Services Support

  • Submit project specific estimates/proposals to the Field Operations Manager for review and approval:  
    • Manning 
    • Assets
    • Additional costs as appropriate 
  • Prepare Scope of Work documents for submission to the Field Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Strong communication with the ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing
  • High level of computer skills including using established processes and software platforms
  • Familiarity and experience with research tools and effective tools for electronic communications
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to plan, implement and follow through
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a high level of good judgment
  • Committed to providing excellent client service to internal and external clients/audiences.
  • Must be a team player
  • Must perform other duties as assigned
  • Experience in a security operations center administrative or supervisory role is preferred

  • Ability to squat, kneel, and crawl as needed;
  • Occasional pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting of objects; may be up to 50 lbs and include climbing stairs;
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time;
  • Ability to use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, and talk or hear;
  • Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus;
  • May occasionally be required to work outdoors in inclement weather;
  • May be required in some positions to have sufficient dexterity, mobility, physical ability and stamina, to restrain individuals in accordance with established guidelines, and sufficient mobility to respond to clients’ needs;
  • May experience frequent to occasional confrontational situations
