Safety Representative

ALL TEX Staffing & Personnel is HIRING, 2nd shift & 3rd shift Safety Coordinator.

If you live in Baytown Texas or near, and are looking for a 2nd shift, this could be the career for you've been seeking.

· Maintain employee safety procedures and documentation.

· Assist with coordination of new hire and refresh of safety training.

· Conduct regular routine safety inspection walks all shops, to ensure proper safety procedures are being followed.

· Determan when employees are using unsafe safety practices and may need more training.

· Identify workplace hazards and implement hazard control to prevent accidents.

· Manages action log

· Reports safety concerns and problems to leadership to initiate action plan needed.

· Counsels and provides technical support to employees, supervisor, managers, regarding matters of workers compensations, injury restrictions and duty termination.

· Assist in emergency drills.

Requirements

• Computer applications including, documentation, presentation, spreadsheets and database programs.

• Highly Ethical

• Self-Motivated

• Respectful and collaborative in a team environment.

• OSHA 10 or 30

• 6+ months preferred of related pipe-yard experience or safety training.

• PC literate: Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point, and outlook

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to conduct training classes for audiences at all levels

• Bilingual Spanish and English

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret and carry out instruction.
