About Our Client:

The client's main product is a mobile app and underlying field service software that makes dispatching field service workers and job scheduling a breeze with the mapping and route planning app feature and convenient field service dispatch organization. The work schedule app feature makes contractor scheduling simple and efficient.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled RoR Technical Team Lead to join our's client dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a distributed team of three engineers located in Germany, India, and Ukraine. You will be responsible for architecting, building, reviewing code, and planning while collaborating closely with the team and management. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in Ruby on Rails, and an understanding of front-end technologies, including Angular and React Native.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 3 engineers across different time zones (Germany, India, Ukraine).
• Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers working with Angular and React Native.
• Review and ensure high-quality code by providing feedback and guidance to the team.
• Plan and manage sprints, tasks, and deliverables to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with the Head of Engineering and provide technical insights.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (RoR) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Experience working with front-end technologies such as Angular and React Native.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote, cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to architect and design backend systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across different time zones.
• Availability to overlap with CST working hours for effective collaboration with the team in Dallas.

Interview Process:

1. RoR Tech Assessment with Adaface.
2. Meeting with Workana's team.
3. One round of interviews with Head of Engineering for management skills evaluation and the engineering team for technical evaluation.

Location: Remote (Preferable CST Overlap) Rate: $50-$55 USD/hour
