RN Charge - ICU - Full-time Day

At Yoakum Community Hospital, we are seeking an engaging and highly skilled RN Charge to join our ICU team on a full-time day shift. As an RN Charge in the ICU, you will function under the direction of the Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer, delivering safe and effective clinical care to patients utilizing the nursing process. You will continuously strive to improve your skills in patient assessment, response, and documentation, while also developing administrative skills to ensure safe patient care, effective communication, and enhanced unit efficiency.

As part of the charge nurse role, you will seek guidance from supervisors and peers as needed, support and contribute to our Quality Assurance Program, and demonstrate a strong interest in continuing education to enhance your professional growth. You will also play a crucial role in the education and mentorship of your peers and other staff members.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS for the RN Charge - ICU - Full-time Day position at Yoakum Community Hospital:

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
• Currently licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as a registered nurse
• CPR, ACLS & PALS certifications required
• Minimum one year of experience in ICU
