Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager

Corporate Talent Resources LLC is excited to announce an opening for a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager to join our client's esteemed healthcare facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care to mothers and newborns. Your leadership will be key in promoting a supportive environment for both patients and staff, fostering teamwork and excellence within the unit. As the Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager, you will lead nursing staff in maintaining compliance with best practices, mentoring team members, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
• Work closely with obstetricians and pediatricians to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Ensure compliance with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting their professional growth and development.
• Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for quality improvement.
• Foster a positive and collaborative environment among nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements to be Considered:

• A minimum of 2 years of Recent Acute Care L&D RN leadership experience is Required, (We will also consider L&D RN's only if you have High Risk and Complex Experience)
• BSN required
• A valid Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
• BLS/ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are preferred
