Registered Nurse Emergency Department Nurse Manager

Corporate Talent Resources LLC is searching for a passionate and experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to join our client's high-performing healthcare team. In this critical role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered to patients in urgent need. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence within the department. You will be responsible for staffing, training, and providing guidance to nursing personnel, while also working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Shift: FT Evenings (3p-11p)

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate effective patient assessments and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Mentor and lead nursing staff in best practices and professional development.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and foster a positive work environment.
• Participate in budget preparation and resource allocation for the department.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements to be Considered:

• A minimum of 2 years of Recent Acute Care experience in Emergency Department management required with direct patient experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
• A valid Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
• BLS/ACLS certifications as mandated
