Corporate Talent Resources LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Cardiac Step Down Nurse Manager to lead our client's dynamic team in providing exceptional care to post-cardiac procedure patients. This role is pivotal within our client's healthcare facility, where they pride themselves on delivering patient-centered care and promoting a collaborative work environment. As the Cardiac Step Down Nurse Manager, you will oversee daily operations in the cardiac step-down unit, ensuring that the nursing staff adheres to the highest standards of clinical excellence and compassionate care. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring nursing staff, as well as collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement effective care plans.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the cardiac step-down unit.
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with medical staff.
- Ensure that all nursing staff comply with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patient outcomes and key performance indicators to drive improvements.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff to enhance their professional development.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements to be Considered:
- Minimum of Recent Acute Care Critical Care leadership experience Required
- BSN required
- A valid Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
- BLS/ACLS as required
