Join the team at our client, a reputable hospital in Beaumont, as a Registered Nurse in the Acute Monitoring unit. This unit provides specialized care to patients requiring continuous monitoring and intensive observation.
This is a full-time, direct hire position
Shift:
- Days or Nights, 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing assessments and provide nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor and interpret patient data from various monitoring systems
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and self-care techniques
Pay:
- $27.30 - $43.50 per hour plus shift differentials (Depends on Experience)
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of RN and/or acute care experience
- Experience in critical care or telemetry preferred
- Active BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required within 8 weeks of employment
- Completion of Arrythmia Recognition Course within 8 weeks of employment
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
