Are you a people person with a knack for spotting talent? Do you thrive on engaging in meaningful conversations and building connections over the phone? We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Recruiting Assistant to join our team!
In this role, you’ll spend a significant amount of time conducting phone interviews and helping us ensure a smooth hiring process. Your excellent communication skills and ability to connect with candidates will be key to finding the perfect fit for our growing company.

This is a temporary role with a duration of 3-4 months.
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, $18.00 per hour
This is a fully remote role, however, you will complete one week of training in our Richardson, TX office.

Requirements
- Conduct initial phone screens for candidates and send qualified candidates to the hiring manager, with notes
- Able to handle a high volume of phone calls while incorporating positive interpersonal skills when communicating with applicants, employees and hiring managers
- At least two years' experience in a customer service related field
- Maintain an organized schedule and clear communication with applicants
- Work independently and as part of a team to reach staffing goals for the company and project
- Employ organizational skills to effectively minimize obstacles that negatively impact the project. Able to employ sound decision-making/problem solving skills to resolve issues and seek advice as needed
- Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements especially in regard to the interviewing process
- Communicate daily with HR team on all staffing status updates
- Other duties as assigned but please note conducting phone interviews will account for 85% of the job
Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Incredibly comfortable talking on the phone and connecting with new people
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Must be able to communicate, at all levels effectively using both verbal and written communication
- Aptitude to comply with company policies, project hiring requirements and client requirements
- Strong knowledge of computer programs and software including: Microsoft Office programs (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); use of the Internet
Benefits
This is a temporary assignment. The wage is $18.00 per hour and is fully remote after one week of training IN OFFICE. Hires must successfully complete a post-offer background check. DSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
