Recovery Companion/Intervention Transport Staff

Adolescent and adult intervention and transport company seeking qualified transportation staff. Job entails picking up clients from different settings (home, hospital, treatment) and transporting and accompanying them to treatment centers all over the country, with most being in Texas and surrounding states.

Transport staff works in pairs. New staff will work jobs with staff that will train them but applicants should have experience and an aptitude for working with clients that could exhibit high stress behaviors.

Requirements

-Clean Driving Record and Valid Drivers License

-Able to pass a background check

-CPR Certified or willing to get CPR Certified

-Able to act as a positive resource and fit a coaching role to adolescents and young adults with mental health or behavioral issues.

-Able to handle high stress environments when client is exhibiting behavioral issues.

-Experience working in substance abuse/mental health/behavioral health treatment.

-Ability to take extended jobs that can last upwards of 24 hours or more.

-Flexibility in schedule; this is a contractor based job, you will be hired for individual jobs and paid lump sums accordingly. Pay is competitive.
