LV Collective is seeking a Real Estate Investments Analyst to join our Student Housing Investments Team.The investments analyst will work closely alongside the team, underwriting investment opportunities, conducting market analyses, and aiding the team during due diligence and closing processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced team with several active projects and a goal for growth. The LV Investments team is seeking a candidate who is interested in real estate development, eager to learn, and most importantly, eager to contribute to team success.
Job Responsibilities
Underwriting & Due Diligence
- Assist Investments Team with underwriting new opportunities, providing detailed financial models, research and analyses.
- Conduct due diligence, research, and business plans for new development and acquisition opportunities.
Market Research & Analysis
- Perform in-depth market research and in-depth analysis of student housing markets.
- Maintain up to date rental rate, pre-lease, and occupancy data for active development and acquisition markets.
- Monitor industry trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Support the investments team in preparing investment summaries, pitch decks, and presentations for stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Other
- Attend weekly project coordination meetings on active development projects.
- Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in real estate, finance, or related fields.
Business Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus Points if… You have a baseline knowledge of the student housing industry.
