A leading global manufacturing company specializing in high-precision machining for large-scale production runs in the automotive industry is currently hiring for a Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) Manager to join its growing team at their facility located in Conroe, TX.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the QSE Manager will work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment managing the Quality Department, as well as overseeing all activities necessary to ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing products. This position will be responsible for upholding and exceeding company standards while driving success in alignment with company policies, goals, and objectives.

Summary of Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages customer quality by handling customer complaints, deviations, and monitoring of customer satisfaction.
- Addresses non-conformities, including stopping production, if necessary.
- Monitors and reduces non-quality costs.
- Handles supplier claims and assesses quality performance.
- Serves as the primary contact for suppliers.
- Contributes to FMEAs, control plans, and process improvements.
- Recommends product and operational enhancements.
- Oversees audits, verifications, and regulatory adherence.
- Manages metrology and measurement equipment.
- Balances resource capacity and workload.
- Conducts regular individual employee meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
This role requires the ability to work in a manufacturing and office environment, which may involve standing, walking, and moving within the facility for extended periods. Physical tasks include occasionally lifting or moving items such as quality inspection tools or materials, typically weighing up to 25 pounds. The ability to observe, assess, and respond to machinery and processes is essential, requiring visual and auditory acuity.
The working conditions include exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment where noise, vibrations, and temperature variations may occur. Compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, is mandatory when working on the production floor. Regular engagement with metrological equipment, audits, and periodic verifications may necessitate precision handling and attention to detail.
This role involves direct interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, necessitating adaptability in varying environments, including offices, production floors, and occasional offsite visits to suppliers or customer facilities. The position requires flexibility to meet project timelines and occasional extended or irregular work hours as needed.

Requirements
Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- At least three years of experience working in a quality assurance or quality control capacity within a manufacturing environment
- At least one year of experience supervising others;
- Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Proficient working knowledge and understanding of mechanics and machinin
- Proficient working knowledge and understanding of applicable standards to include IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Proficient working knowledge and understanding of basic automotive quality tools to include PFMEA SPC, MSA, PPAP, and APQP
- Basic working knowledge and understanding of metrology
