As Project Manager over network deployments (wired and wireless), you will oversee complex projects, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include developing project scopes, managing resources, tracking progress, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
This is a remote, work from home position and preference will be given to candidates who live in one of our hub cities: New York City, Atlanta or Austin.
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,00.
Here's the role:
- Project Scoping and Planning: Drive project success by developing comprehensive scopes and objectives, ensuring alignment with sales, engineering, and internal stakeholders. Achieve timely delivery through meticulous resource planning and allocation.
- Change Management: Maintain project integrity by efficiently managing scope, schedule, and cost changes using verification techniques. Ensure adaptability to evolving project requirements.
- Performance Measurement: Enhance project outcomes by tracking performance with appropriate systems and tools, and proactively reporting progress to management for timely intervention.
- Stakeholder Management: Strengthen client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and seamless collaboration with third parties/vendors.
- Client Coordination: Foster strong client relationships by coordinating access, timelines, and onsite requirements, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Minimize project risks through proactive risk assessment and management, securing necessary permits and licenses.
- Documentation: Support project transparency and continuity by maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation.
You’ll love this job if this describes you:
Air-traffic controller. You’re good at giving clear directions in-person, on the phone, and in an email. You’ll have several projects you’re managing, multiple resources you’re leading, and it’s your job to make sure everything gets done.
Managing and working through systems. You have experience implementing processes and procedures through core work systems
Solid logical problem-solving skills. You’re honest and practical when it comes to solving problems. You’d rather give a correct answer that’s true, rather than try to make up an answer to please the client. That said, you work toward a goal, and you don’t want to disappoint.
Clear Communication Skills. Your written and verbal communications are friendly, to the point, and professional. You have a natural, but realistic tone to your communication style, and you’re not afraid of tough conversations.
Technical aptitude. Prior experience in our industry is highly preferred, however, if you have a strong IT/Operational background, and have worked in a technical environment, you should catch on quickly to our business.
Requirements
- PMP Certification
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in WiFi, network routing, and switching projects
- Strong technical background in network infrastructure
- 5 years’ experience as a project manager
- Strong practical knowledge of working with online programs typically used in project management (ServiceNow, NetSuite, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
