Giga Energy manufactures and operates energy infrastructure. We are an international company with headquarters in Houston & Shanghai offering comprehensive product lines including electrical equipment, modular data centers, and power generation assets. In addition to our product lines, Giga operates off-grid and on-grid data centers in North and South America.
Job Description
As a Product / Service Manager your role is to work with the product team to successfully deliver high-quality products and ensure customer satisfaction through robust after-sales support. You have a great technical acumen and you are the go-to person for all product related questions for our comprehensive product line (including bitcoin mining containers, switchboards, transformers, etc). This role would work closely with both the US and China teams, and would be the face of the company to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all project related documentation is up-to-date, including plans, specifications, and user manuals
- Create documentation for after-sales support processes and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with clients & sales team to ensure the products exceed their expectations
- Defining after sales support strategies
- Facilitate communications between different departments, ensuring that information flows smoothly across teams
- Manage a team for after sales support
- Use customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives in both product design and support processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define objectives and deliverables
- Implement and monitor quality control processes throughout the manufacturing and support phases
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements, specifications and issues to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Capability to understand and exceed customer expectations, particularly in the context of after-sale support
- Capacity to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions
Preferences
- Background in data center, electrical, or bitcoin mining
- Interested in staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure team is equipped with proper knowledge and skills
