Procurement Specialist

Rusco Packaging is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with a focus on managing our procurement processes efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and procure materials, products, and services in accordance with company objectives and budgetary guidelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to streamline procurement processes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform procurement decisions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role, preferably in a remote capacity.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
