Responsibilities:

- Preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
- Cooking and plating a variety of dishes according to recipes and guidelines
- Managing specific stations such as grill, sauté, or fry
- Ensuring food presentation is visually appealing and meets quality standards
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Prep Cook, Line Cook, or Station Cook in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
