Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience and a solid background in paralegal work. This position involves preparing and drafting discovery responses, ordering and compiling medical records, and ensuring adherence to patient confidentiality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and draft discovery responses.
• Order, compile, and review medical records.
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Produce and manage legal documents, including Deposition Written Questions (DWQs) and subpoenas.
• Assist with document production. 
• Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation for cases.
• Maintain organized and accurate files.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Proven paralegal experience.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient confidentiality laws.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Paralegal certification or relevant legal education.
• Experience with legal software and case management systems.
