Offshore Party Chief

Channel Ship Services Limited (CSS) is currently seeking an experienced Offshore Party Chief to join our team. As an Offshore Party Chief, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating offshore survey operations to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• 4DNAV
• Fusion 1
• Visual Soft Suite DVR
• MS Office

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise survey teams during offshore operations
• Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute survey activities
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Monitor and maintain survey equipment and software
• Conduct quality control checks on survey data
• Provide technical support and guidance to survey teams
• Prepare and review survey reports
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address project needs
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Offshore Party Chief or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geodesy, Oceanography, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
• Proficiency in using survey software, such as EIVA NaviPac, AutoCAD, and Valeport Interphase software
• Experience with offshore operations, including positioning and navigation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis and travel to offshore locations
