Offshore AUV Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment and operation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for offshore projects
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of AUV systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical guidance and support to the AUV team members
• Coordinate with project teams to plan and execute AUV operations
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives
• Monitor the performance of AUV systems during operations, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team
• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of AUV equipment
• Review and analyze data collected by AUVs, providing accurate and comprehensive reports to project teams
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AUV operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Offshore AUV Supervisor in the offshore industry
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing AUV operations
• Strong technical knowledge of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) systems and equipment
• Experience in coordinating and leading a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations governing offshore operations
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Flexibility to work in offshore environments for extended periods
