Channel Ship Services Limited (CSS Limited) is currently seeking skilled and experienced AUV Operators specializing in surveying and engineering to join our clients project in the USA (B1-OCS visa required if you are not US/CAN nationality). As an AUV Operator (Survey & Engineer), you will play a critical role in our operations, operating Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to conduct surveying and engineering tasks. Responsibilities

  • Operate Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for offshore surveying and engineering tasks
  • Conduct data collection and analysis using AUV sensors and systems
  • Utilize surveying techniques to collect accurate and reliable data
  • Apply engineering principles to interpret data and provide insights to support offshore projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute AUV operations
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of AUV equipment
  • Produce comprehensive reports and documentation on surveying and engineering findings
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AUV operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an AUV Operator in the offshore industry
  • Strong background in surveying techniques and engineering principles
  • Proficiency in operating Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and relevant sensors/systems
  • Experience with software for data collection and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations governing offshore operations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Flexibility to work in offshore environments for extended periods
