Ironwear, a leading manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is looking for a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will be vital to supporting the daily operations and enhancing the overall productivity within the office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external correspondence, including emails and memos.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
- Support accounting functions by processing invoices and expense reports.
- Coordinate office activities and events to promote a positive office environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in Office Administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and copiers.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
