Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the administrative and business operations aspects of Restore PLLC. In this role, the NP Manager acts as both a people leader and individual contributor, responsible for the leadership, direction and oversight of the nurse practitioners reporting directly to them, while maintaining a clinical practice. The NP Manager develops collaborative relationships with operational and clinical partners to support system initiatives. This role is fully remote and is a salaried, exempt position reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement effective workplace procedures
  • Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration meetings to ensure alignment within organization 
  • Ensure policies and best practices are up to industry standards and regulations
  • Work with team to maintain compliance requirements
  • Hire, train and monitor clinical staff 
  • Stay within budgeted allocations for team 
  • Release monthly schedule 30-60 days in advance
  • Monitor multi licensing status of NPs 
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, mentorship, check ins and performance reviews
  • Maintain open lines of communication within team 
  • Provide growth opportunities and projects for team members 
  • Surveillance of clinical prescriptions sent 
  • Communicate with staff on changes 
  • Supervise daily practice operations such as patient scheduling, load leveling and overflow management 
  • Utilization of business data analytics 
  • Interact with business owners, franchise units and staff, and provide franchise support 
  • Partner with auditors as necessary to assure compliance

Requirements

  • Master's Degree: Nursing APRN - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License required.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally-accredited certifying board required. 
  • Current credentials to practice in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on the development of leadership skills and managing professionals.
  • At least 5 years related clinical experience in the acute care setting.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider is required with the majority of that time spent in clinical practice.
