Freenet Health Corp. is a rapidly growing healthcare management company servicing virtual and mobile medical practices. We are now hiring multiple positions for our mobile wound care practice Woundlocal.
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse licensed in Texas for the full-time position of Wound Care Account Manager. This position requires you to use your car to drive to patient locations and SNF and Home Health company headquarters in the Greater San Antonio area.
Job Summary: this position is a patient care and facility relationship hybrid role, where 40% of time is with patients performing conservative wound care at various facilities and homes, and 60% of time is spent with clients building relationships, soliciting feedback, training their staff for the purpose of more patient referrals for advanced wound care. The position has a base, plus bonus based on referrals from happy facility staff. Because the position is mobile, candidate must demonstrate ability to work independently and productively with little supervision.
The Nurse Account Manager works in the product and service line Woundlocal and fills the gap between the sales team, providers, and account management by providing (a) regular in-person interactions with the DONs of SNFs and Home Health Agencies, (b) gathering new referral face sheets, (c) assisting the sales team with new accounts, (d) performing conservative care on patients with existing accounts, (e) and (f) performing skin sweeps at prospective accounts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse
- No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
- Active state license in good standing
- Availability for 40 hours per week
