Full Job Description

KEN Media is searching for a Media Assistant with experience in digital channels. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team with exciting B2C clients. This is a junior position within our team and the right person must be a quick learner, data-driven, and have a keen sense for details. You should have a strategic mindset to help manage winning media plans under the supervision of the Sr. Media Planner, with whom you will receive thorough training.

Responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable of the accounts’ strategic media plans based on brand strategy, account goals, and client direction
  • Support campaign set-up with spec and trafficking sheet creation and campaign trafficking execution
  • Assist with the creation of client-facing deliverables, such as flowcharts, billing documents, live campaign decks, performance reports, optimization recommendations, etc.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day stewardship of campaigns and ensuring accuracy of budgets, flowcharts, billing, etc.
  • Participate in training to expand knowledge, experience, and work efficiencies
  • Utilize media tools and resources to pull competitive and audience insight to help inform media strategy and to pull reach and frequency delivery for media buys
  • Stay up to date and aware of new platforms, buying techniques, and information around opportunities for our clients
  • Help evaluate publisher capabilities, media opportunities, and campaign performance

Requirements

  • A college degree, ideally with a relevant major (Advertising or Marketing)
  • Ideally, at least 1 year of experience in digital media buying and planning
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, or Keynote
  • Exude excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards for accuracy, productivity, and quality
  • Be a strategic thinker and strong data-minded individual
  • Bonus if you have media or advertising experience, or exposure to a digital ad server, ads manager platform, media reporting software, or planning tools such as Nielsen, comScore, Simmons/MRI, Kantar Strategy
