Mechanic Technician

BE Staffing Solutions is a leading staffing agency specializing in providing quality workforce solutions to various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic Technician to join our team.

As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on terminal trains and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot issues
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance tasks performed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the shop and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Mechanic Technician
• Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance techniques
• Ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
